Grace and James never had family photos taken with their first baby. After almost 3 years since Owen was born, it was such an honor to capture and celebrate their growing family with a family maternity session at Juanita Bay Park, a park they frequently visited. It is one of my favorite locations to photograph families. Located in Kirkland, Washington, it’s not overly crowded and is perfect for a family wanting a session with open fields and paved walkways for young children to explore.
There is no denying that Owen loves his grandparents, so including them in the session and honoring their involvement in his life was really important to me. I always encourage bringing a family member along to sessions to help out with the little one so we can also take some photos of just mom and dad together! I have so many couples say their last professional photos as a couple was on their wedding day, so this time set aside to celebrate your love is just as important to me!
