There is nothing I love more than a sweet family session at a local neighborhood park. One of my favorite places to photograph young families is Heritage Park in Kirkland – during the Summer, there are so many beautiful blooming flowers along the walkways, cute benches to rest when your little one just needs a little break, and the smell of the marine layer from the Kirkland waterfront. It really blows me away that we can be in the city, mountains and water within minutes of each other here in Washington. Julia and Marc wanted to have their session outdoors with sweet 8 month old Hunter, so I knew this would be the perfect location for their young family.  It was an unexpected colder Summer morning but Hunter and his parents were troopers and we still managed to get some great genuine smiles all around during the session.
