There is something special about capturing families on camera in big open fields and this session with Erik, Megan and their 3 young boys was the perfect example why! Magnuson Park in Seattle has always been one of my favorite locations for an outdoor family photo session. During the Summer mornings, the sun often tucks behind the trees and diffuses the light to become the most perfect soft glow in photos. The open fields has the added benefit of allowing me to capture young children explore their surroundings and makes for some of the perfect candid photos. Just a short walk from the parking lot, the stroll to the field was the perfect amount of time for me to get to know the 3 young boys (all 5 years old and under!) just in time to capture their delightful smiles.
